Different Days

You can become blind by seeing each day as similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It's just a matter of paying attention to this miracle.

Progress

Progress lies not in advancing towards your destination, but in the decision of what to do after conquering the land of your aim.

Advice

Whenever I ask for an advice from someone, I think, "Will the ocean let me surf?"

Look Before You Leap

When you are said to be wrong by someone;
Even if you have done a work never witnessed by sun,
Patience is the best weapon you can use
To kill the doubts and never to loose.

Always talk when it's the time to talk;
Always see whether it's light or dark.
You have read, "Look before you leap."
For the abyss of problems is very deep.

Writing Of God

I have heard many people saying that God made the nature brilliant, indispensable and transcendent. But when ask them to express their views in words, they refuse and say that language of God is difficult to elaborate. I must say that to understand the greatness of God, it is sine qua non to understand his beauty. People can express the difficult thought into simple words.

I can elaborate that nature is the hand writing of God which is very difficult, but important too. For example, a doctor's writing is difficult to understand but it may contain information about the life and death of a person. Similarly, writing of God contains an extraordinary and eminent beauty.

Friendship

Always get the company of your friends when you are angry. Because when the magma cools, it makes the soil more fertile.

Wise Men

Wise men decide to talk when no one wishes to listen.

Breaking A Heart

Never break someone's heart, for when you do this, you are like making a glass shatter into small pieces which can never be joined again.

Dreamer

I am a dreamer, living in the reality of dreams.

Words

Your words are crumbs falling from the feast of your knowledge. Give these to those who are hungry for a little of these.

I Hope

I am trying to make my blog better and more interesting. I hope that I shall succeed. I have a hope that God will help me because I once heard a maxim:

"What God does, he does well."

If you have any suggestions, any criticism, do share it.

Illusion Of Free Will

In my view, the free will of a man is not controlled by himself. It's the consequences of nature which make him do such things. A man is never freely able to do something on his own. The natural power is provided to him to do such thing. Scott Adams said:

"Free will is an illusion. People always choose the perceived path of greatest pleasure."

A man has never been a free agent from his birth to death. For example, his daily opinions are based on his personal experience and education which is provided to him by the nature. If he was given a free will, he would be there lying on the floor after jumping from a window on the 6th floor of a building. If he had the right for a free will, he could do anything, whether it was for his welfare or not.

For another example, when we turn a T.V on, we say,  "The T.V is working." But actually, if we think deep, it is working because we made it to do this. It is working because of the different parts present in it. It doesn't work on its will. We are the same. Jawaharlal Nehru said:

"Life is like a game of cards. The hand you are dealt is determinism; the way you play it is a free will."

Getting The Impossibles

It's easy to grasp the shadows but others might think otherwise to go in the direction of those who are seeking the truth but they always doubt those who have found it.

Hunger

Hunger has always been a cause of crimes.

A Blink Of Eternity

Life is a blink of eternity.

I Gazed Around And Found Nothing New

A few days ago, I was walking here and there in the open city, thinking and thinking about this world. I don't know why, but really good thoughts were coming. I was remembered about the quote of Friedrich Nietzsche at that time:

"All truly great thoughts are conceived by walking."

I looked around, I espied and observed everything, but found nothing but nature. I read nothing but the novel of this world where everyone is playing a significant part. William Shakespeare rightly said:

"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and thei entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages."

I gazed around and found that this world is going as it should be. It was straight and forward. Everyone here, whether good or bad is not my topic, is giving a life to this world.
We can see that a plant can even absorb muddy water for its survival. Similarly, we have to face evil to struggle for a true life. Living a life is no more than sitting with paralysed body; surviving for life is the reason for you to be sent down in this world. Hans Christian Anderson said:

"Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower."

Now, what is life? It's a wide ranging name giving birth to many philosophical ideas but still, the life remains undefined. What is this that we walk, we eat, we run, we laugh, we cry and we do whatever we want to do? Now everywhere I look, I look life. Life is with us, but we are not with life because life can define us, but we can't properly define it in terms of philosophy. Robert Bryne told the meaning of life in general as:

"The purpose of life is a life of purpose."

There is nothing new around us. The world was made for struggle and is existing because of struggle. When we look around, we hope to find something new (and we find something new but it's in our views). The truth is that, when you look beyond the thinking of an ordinary man, you'll know that nothing is new. You are living and just living; nothing else. You desire to run; you run very fast and assume it to be a new thing for you but no! It's in your nature to run. Nothing new.

A new thing happens at that moment when you die because your dying giving something new to this world. Now, let me explain it with the help of a transcendent quote of Richard Bach.

"Here is the test to find whether your mission on earth is fininshed. If you're alive, it isn't."

Truth Is Simple

Truth always seems to be simple on the first look, but only a simple base gives rise to a great skyscraper.

Power Of Truth

Truth is always very strong to face the attacks of thousands of lies coming to break its existence.

Science And Philosophy

Science is always struggling to measure the level of philosophy, but still, philosophy doesn't know itself how far it can go.

Admiration

Admiration can distract a person's attention to achieve the cause of admiration.

What If God Was Not Present

This goes to a great argument. Firstly, I want to tell that if God was not present, nothing would be present. But let's think it otherwise going a little ahead. If God was not present, we couldn't handle the darkness swallowing the light or light killing the darkness. Voltaire said:

If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent Him..

If God was not present, I would rather think that even the present would never exist for the existence of man. If there is some existence, there must be a creator of this existence to exist in this present. Even if a person who doesn't believe in God, he might think some day that someone is up there looking him and helping him in the story which He made for him. Well, explaining this, I want to cite a quote of Homer Simpson:

I am not normally a religious man, but... if you're up there, save me, superman.

The God is the maker - the maker of the makers. If He was not present, how could we make our eyes look around, because every time you look around, you espy on something which reflects the greatness and presence of God. If God was not present, what was the purpose of us to be sent down here; what could be our purpose to look around and talk and hear and taste. When there is some purpose of us to be sent down here, there must also be a reason for him to take us back to him. Winston Churchill said:

I am ready to meet my maker. Whether my Maker is prepare for the ordeal of meeting me is another matter.

If God was not present, we couldn't know when a person was in space and in no time he stood beside us.
There would be blunders. Blunders not committed by us but by the laws of nature. It would be something real to us at that moment, but now it's completely strange. No one can explain what would happen if the God was not present, but little endeavours can be compiled to give a true shape to tell this unanswered question. We have to think differently to explain this topic because different likes different.

Mystery

We have to stop and be humble enough to understand that there is something called mystery.

Blood Circulation

Teacher was explaining blood circulation: If I stood on my head, the blood will run into it.
Student: Yes madam.
Teacher: Then why is that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position, the blood doesn't flow into my feet?
Student: Because your feet are not empty.

Student And Teacher

Student: Teacher! Will you punish me for something that I have not done?
Teacher: No! Certainly not.
Student: Thank you! I did not do my homework today.

Waiting And Suffering

Waiting is painful. Forgetting is painful. But not knowing which to do is the worse kind of suffering.

No One Can Lie

No one can lie, no one can hide anything, when he looks directly into someone's eyes.

Love

Love can consign us to hell or to paradise, but it always takes us somewhere.

My Poem In School Magazine

My poem "Knowledge" was selected to be written in my school magazine "Futurist".

Love - An Inescapable Trap

Love is a trap. When it appears, we see only its light, not its shadows.

Blessing And Curse

Every blessing ignores becomes a curse.

Life

Life was always a matter of waiting for the right moment to act.

Happenings

Everything that happens once can never happen again. But everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time.

Risks - The Beauty Of Life

Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience.

Isaac Newton

Today's Isaac Newton's 368th birthday.

Date Of Birth:

He was born on December 25, 1642.

Date Of Death:

He died on March 20, 1726.

Information:

He was an English physician, astronomer, mathematician, alchemist and theologian. He was a great physician and physics became luminous after his work on law of gravitation, laws of motion and formulation of equations of motion. A common story known by everyone is that once Newton was sitting under a tree when an apple came down and hit his head. This gave him the thought of the reason of this fall. He thought and thought and at last gave his law of gravitation.

Some Funny Jokes About Newton:

1. Physics would have been much easier if the tree had fallen on Newton's head instead of an apple  :)

2.Gravity is a law and lawbreaker must be brought down.

3. The force applied by a boy while proposing a girl is equal and opposite to the force by which the girl slaps.

4. Physics would have been much easier if Newton was sitting under a coconut tree instead of an apple tree.

Trust

The tree was there standing alone.
Patiently waiting to welcome the morn.
It had a secret of forest to tell
To one who could keep it well.

Nature blew the wind across.
The tree was ready to break the laws.
But bad! The tree could hardly stare
When the wind became the air.

A giraffe happened to come across.
The tree was ready to break the laws.
The giraffe came and ate its leaves.
It saw something and suddenly flees.

Many days and weeks came across.
The tree was always ready to break the laws.
But bad! The tree could hardly find a day
To say what it wanted to say.

One day, a bird happened to cross.
The tree was ready to break the laws.
But poor! The bird fell on ground
After a deadly firing sound.

A man with a gun happened to cross.
The tree was ready to break the laws.
The hidden secret was at last told.
The secret of forest was at last sold.

The next day, an apocalypse came.
The yesterday and tomorrow were not same.
The destruction of forest could be seen.
Every human was being so mean.

The same man with an axe happened to cross.
The man was ready to break the laws.
The tree which once stood like a wall,
After breaking a trust, had to fall.

The Innocent

Once, Arthur bought a beautiful, eye-catching and lustrous new car. Hi son, Adam and his wife, Amy were very happy on having such a luxurious car.

Arthur loved his car more than himself. He washed and cleaned it everyday. He always cared for it.

It is an incident of one day that Arthur was washing his car. Adam was just sitting near, playing with his toys. Arthur took out a tool box and started browsing for a spanner. After taking the spanner, he turned around and he was shocked to see what was happening: Adam was writing something on the car's door with a stone.

Arthur went out of mind and was foaming at mouth. Not knowing of what he was holding in his hand, he hit Adam's fingers hardly with the spanner. Adam's three fingers were broken off. Adam was taken to hospital. That day, Adam had to remain in hospital. Arthur went to his home alone for some time. He was upset about what he had done to his son. As he was passing near the car, he looked at the car's door on which Adam was writing something. At once, tears came out from Arthur's eyes.

There was written:

"Dad! I love you."

After The Flood

Everywhere, there were sounds and cries. Cries of agony. Sounds of pain. The sparkling tears twinkled on every face and trickled down the chins, showing the signs of loosing something very special. Some people were running, not knowing what to do in such a critical situation. Beds were full of people waiting to welcome the death. It seemed like doomsday has come in the disaster stricken tent. Everything seemed to be strange, but a boy sat outside the tent. For him, everywhere there was silence and darkness. Whenever, he thought to look deep into his feelings, he saw nothing but vagueness and blurriness. He was thinking what to do at the edge of life. He had nothing left. Not thinking of what he was doing, he stood up and headed straight to that answer which was the only one to reply to his unanswered question. He reached the river.

The breeze started to blow to welcome his arrival. The sand swished past his feet, but he stood where he was standing. After a little while, he looked at the freely flying birds. He listened their chirping. He observed their happiness. The happiness in the air full of aroma.

"You know we are the like these birds which can escape your anger," said the boy, still looking at the flying birds.

"And I am not like you who raises his voice against the conspiracy of nature," replied the jaunty waves of the river.

The boy looked at the river. He thought for a moment. He was wrong! He came here to ask a question, not to point out the nature's doings.

"Why did you do this?" The boy said; for the first time, tears started coming from his eyes. "We often visited you. I used your water to give strength to my sand castles which were then admired by my parents. We loved your happy waves. I thought you could only break those sand castles with your waves, but you destroyed everything."

"Dear, it wasn't my intention to give rise to a flood. It wasn't my thought to drown your parents," the river explained. " I just obeyed what the hand which wrote everything ordered me to do."

The boy was shocked. "Is this what this hand always orders you to do?"

"No! It is the hand of creator. He is the only one who ordered me to give place to fishes in me just because you wanted them. He is the only one who orders me to make the air fresh and colder for your refreshment." The river told the boy proudly to tell him the greatness of its master.

The boy understood. "I am very thankful to you," the boy smiled.

"For what?" The river asked.

"For inspiring me to stop blaming you for all this," the boy turned around and started walking back to the tent.

Suddenly, he stopped. He had something left to say. He looked back towards the lively river.

"There is always a reason. There is a reason for the hand of creator to give me loneliness," the boy smiled. "Afterall, he created my existence for some purpose."

The boy looked ahead happily and went away.

A Wrong Step Taken

A wrong step taken,
Which changed my life
Of hatred, of love and of goodness.
Life was generous but waves
Swept it away, telling me:
A wrong step is taken.

A bird which perched on a branch,
Suddenly, took the path of ground.
Dark stopped the search for light;
Light stopped to kill the dark.
The whole world started to shout:
A wrong step is taken.

All this was supposition,
Because it can't occur
When people live and life loves;
When love cares and care dreams;
When dreams stare and staring is dream.

Ass House

Adam: John, don't ever live in this house, because asses live here.
John: How do you know this?
Adam: I know it because i have been living here for four years. :-)

In The Middle Of Road

The boy’s name was Sabir. An amputated leg forced him to sit on the narrow footpath and watch the cars speeding in front of him, giving him nothing but a black smoke letting Sabir to realize his inferiority complex. Some cruel people stood at a distance from him, but their eyes didn’t seem to be away, instead, they were fixed on him. Sabir’s say always went by, and ticked away quickly. His life was worst than anyone! Sabir sat on a pavement, below the traffic signal to beg to people for some money so that he could give about 1000 rupees to those cruel and ruthless people after each week. Otherwise, instead of his one leg, his whole life could be amputated from his own body. The sun was only a coming and going thing for Sabir. For him, a day was nothing more than a car hurtling after another one. Life of Sabir was like the leafing of blank pages again and again. Sabir was only 13 years old, but he had experienced a lot about Pakistani society in which he lived. Cruel, ruthless, uncouth, brutal, vicious, inhuman, callous, atrocious and savage were the words given to this barbarous society, by Sabir. People supposed that he was a poor guy, but they didn’t know the bad incident which came to have a bad glimpse over his life. His only espies and observations of the day were his own blinks coming again and again in the same order having no surprises, no thrills and no ecstasies. Everything was bad. Bad for him; bad for anyone to live in it, but still there. The only thing he smelled was the polluted air mixed with pitilessness. The only thing which he was allowed to touch was the unimportant and deceiving money which was his worst enemy and which was responsible for his current condition and situation. It was nothing more than a lie for him. A lie—a big lie and nothing else! The only voices he was supposed to hear were “Well poor guy, take these ten rupees” or “No beggar, get lost! I don’t have time or money to give you!” He thought himself like a dust or stone wanting nothing; always being hit by foot and going somewhere else to be hit again by someone else. It was indeed a bad and inhospitable life, but still being adopted or forced to adopt by people.

A car stopped in front of Sabir when the traffic signal showed the red light. Sabir’s eyes caught someone in the luxurious Mercedes CLK. Someone whom he knew more than anyone. Someone whom he loved the most. Someone who was very special for him. Someone who was the only hope of making his life better and easy to live. Someone who can take this heavy mountain off his head. Someone from whom he was once separated. His mother!

The support to stand came from walking sticks which took him to the sumptuous ride which was waiting for a green light to appear on the traffic signal. Sabir waited impatiently for the wind span to lower down; a broad grin seemed to be painted on his happy face.

A pale face of a women appeared.

“Mom! I am your son. Remember? I am Sabir!” Sabir cried, happily for seeing the bright face of his loving mother after a long time. “Do you remember?”

His mother looked at him blankly. No answer. Silence. Stillness. Quietness. Uncommunicativeness. Taciturnity. No reply. No voice. But at last, her soft lips made a motion and a shocked voice came out.

“What do you mean? You can’t be my son! He—he— he died one year back in— in a severe bo— bomb blast. I saw his wounded face. Those evils kil—killed my son. I remember very well. You’re not my son! You’re from among those evils! I know what you’re here for! It’s just parsimony for luxury!”

Sabir was stunned! He received the answer of silence and reticence, that was the feeling of unfamiliarity from a familiar person.

“But—“No voice came out from the mouth of Sabir. He was too shocked to say any word.

“I can’t be your mother! You’re a beggar and I am a prosperous person. I know what you want!” She handed over a note of 20 rupees. “Liars are all around! It’s all mendacity!”

The traffic signal showed the green light. The car went away quickly and Sabir couldn’t stop his eyes to follow the car. He stood at the spot. In the middle of road! For the first time in his life, Sabir’s Sabr was not enough to handle his emotions. Sabir looked at the road where the car was standing before. Cars honking behind him. But he was there. There, caring about nothing! He didn’t move until he felt the 20 rupees note in his hand torn into two pieces due to wetness. Wet of his emotions. Wet of his disaster of loosing his last hope for the betterment of his life. Wet of his own tears given by someone who was very close to his heart!

My Last Day In This Deceitful World

My eyes were opened
When I was awake.
My Heart was broken
When it was to bloom again.

The shattered pieces of life I gave into the hands of death,
Receiving nothing. Nothing was left!
Thousand tears were of no importance
To make a wilted flower to bloom.

My leash, which had been tugged by my life,
Now strained apart; a dross brunt made me worthless.
I can’t pay the tax of what I’ve seen,
Or for the action I never wanted to do
In front of the eyes of ruthlessness!

I stood before the man who took my family away.
“Your last wish?” said he.
“To see what’s behind my eyes.”
Soon, I couldn’t assess my profuse anguish of swarthy din!

When consciousness nonchalantly came,
A man suddenly came.
“What did you mean by your last wish?”
“To meet my family in the world of eternity!”

A Deadly Hide And Seek

“1, 2, 3 …” John was waiting for 50 to come out of his mouth and he could start his hard search for us while playing hide and seek. Amy and harry were going here and there in search of a good place to hide. All of us were in our uncle’s home. There was a huge garden, having a gigantic rubber tree whose branches extended to the balcony of the second floor of the luxurious house. It was night and it was adding a lot to our horror, but fun is something considered different in the presence of fear. We all were fearless.

“Hey Kevin—where are you supposed to hide?” Amy asked as she was passing beside me in kitchen. “I can’t find a nice hiding place.”

“I don’t even know where to hide, but there is a good place for you to hide,” I said. She was impatient to hear what i was about to say. A small change in my lips turned into a grin and then into a cackle. “Go to hell!”

I laughed and ran away from her. She was foaming at mouth.

“You’re too good to say nice words from your big mouth!” She shouted back. “Brainless! Frog-like stupid!”

“Infesto inferno!” I kept on saying. (Infesto inferno means go to hell).

My uncle and my dad had gone to see one of their friends. We were here—alone!

“23, 24, 25 …”

I had no time left. Tick, tick and tick made the time pass in seconds. My feet took me upstairs. I was alone and horrified. I was scared to be alone, but I didn’t have time to think about this. John was just about to come. I was glancing hither and thither in all directions to find a good place to hide, but my head was having explosions of emptiness of no final decision.

“41, 42, 43 …”

I didn’t wait more and rushed towards the balcony door, and stepped beneath the dark shadow of rubber tree’s branches in the darkness of the vague night.

“49 and 50! Here I come!”

There was a huge branch which touched the floor of the balcony. I arranged myself in its leaves in such a way that no one could ever trace me out.

Time passes by like a fast racing car speeding away in front of you in such a way that before you could even feel its existence or can even observe it, it runs away, letting you do nothing but stare at its rear.

The same happened with me. I didn’t know for how much time I had been sitting under the sheet of leaves. My eyes were close. Closed, so that no scary thoughts enter in my mind.

I came out from the bundle of leaves. It’s too late, I thought. Couldn’t they tell me when the game has ended! I looked down the balcony.

A stunning shock came and made me shiver from head to feet.

Blood! Blood everywhere!

Amy, Harry and John were beneath the tree. Their corpses were full of blood, but I came to know that all were not dead! John was still having slow breaths.

“Kevin, run! Run away! He’ll do the same to you because he came for you! The creature in the rubber tree. Leave the leaves and run away! The darkness is more beautiful than dark! Run or you’ll be one of us, like a dead body. Run for your life. You can escape him by — “John ended. His knell had been rung.

Before I could force myself to take an action, I heard some footsteps behind the balcony door. The leaves of rubber tree started to rustle. It felt that the man was standing behind me; his face full of my cousins’ blood; his powerful hands clutching my neck firmly and my death in front of my eyes. But all this was supposition and thoughts. The truth was behind the balcony door. I was alone and helpless in the big house and the sight of opening door entered my eyes after a deadly knock.

I opened my eyes. It was a night mare. A short nightmare! I was still under the coat of leaves. I was afraid and scared. So, I came out from the sheet of leaves and glanced down the balcony. No one was there! I thought that John was still looking for me. I looked at the place where I was under the leaves before. Someone was sitting there!

Someone who looked just like me. My clone! He looked back at me. A smirk appeared on his face.

“I like your body,” he said coldly.

No! He took my body. I am not alive!

The wooden balcony door opened. “Kevin, are you there?” John asked.

But how could he know that I was there, because I was dead. I was a part of the souls of the world.

I didn’t know that my dream will take such an enormous U-turn. Apparently, my cousins died, but actually, I was nothing more than a helpless soul looking at its corpse invaded by a wicked creature.

The creature stood up. A long dagger in his left hand.

“Your end is near my boy. Meet your mortality!” He shouted, stabbing the knife in me. A deep anguish travelled throughout my body. A pain which I had never experienced before!
